In Praise of Imperfection Forget strict geometric forms. The MAART wall light is an ode to nature, drawing its inspiration directly from wabi-sabi aesthetics. Designed like a rock formation climbing along your walls, it assembles genuine shards of raw stone held by delicate brass rivets. It is a fascinating sculptural piece that instantly brings texture, relief and character to a prestige bathroom, a hallway or either side of a bed.
Slices of Authentic Alabaster Excellence lies in the material. Each "scale" of MAART is sliced from a block of authentic natural Spanish alabaster. Far from industrial mouldings, the contours of these stones are left raw and irregular. Their veining, their opacities and their small irregularities tell an age-old mineral story, making every light a strictly unique work of art, impossible to reproduce.
A Luminous Eclipse Rather than projecting light forward, the integrated SMD LED technology is hidden behind the shards of stone. This ingenious backlighting underlines the natural translucency of the alabaster while drawing a majestic warm, diffuse halo on your wall. From the delicate 1-head version to punctuate a space, to the monumental 9-head column (78 cm) to dress a large empty wall, MAART sculpts a deeply enveloping, soothing atmosphere.
